Spectacular Social Space
Spectacular social space for sport and community events.
3 Padel Courts
We are building two double and one single canopied padel courts and are working with reputable operator Smash Padel to activate this facility April 2025. Padel will be open to all from 7am to 10pm seven days a week and a full time Head Padel Coach will focus on developing a social padel community and make sure anyone can pick up a padel racket and play.
Viewing Balcony
External balcony overlooking the first team pitch with outside access to serving hatch for hot drinks and snacks.
First Class Hospitality
Excellent bar and daytime cafe, function room and kitchen facilities providing a first-class hospitality experience.
For the Community
A first class modern facility for all sports users/supporters of Whitemans Green and the local community.
Gym
A community gym is going to be built between the Clubhouse and the Padel courts. It will provide the opportunity for strength, conditioning and fitness sessions for individuals and groups that are suitable for all ages and abilities. Fund raising for the gym continues with the goal to build this extension to the main building in 2025 if possible. Once the gym is built there will be an extended balcony from the Clubhouse on its roof, overlooking the padel courts. 6 Changing Rooms
​Six spacious changing rooms with dedicated showers and toilets which can be compartmentalised for use by boys and girls, men and women, at the same time - enabling development of rugby and other sports across all ages and genders.
Physiotherapy Suite
Dedicated physiotherapy room run throughout the week by a reputable company for benefit of the local sports community.
Accessibility
Improved accessibility for disabled athletes and visitors and more senior members with wide doors for wheelchair access, lift to first floor, disabled toilets on both floors and viewing balcony over main rugby pitch.
Club Shop
Storage facility for all sports played at Whitemans Green - existing premises that are no longer fit for purpose will be demolished once new Clubhouse open.
The new Clubhouse elevates the experience of sport at the Club and improve the physical and mental health and well-being of hundreds of children and adults in Mid Sussex.
